Michael Pruitt founded Golf Society 319 in 2022 to create a new way to experience the best golf clubs around the world. In addition to Golf Society 319, Mr. Pruitt formed Amergent Hospitality Group Inc in 2005 (formerly Chanticleer Holdings Inc.) and currently serves as the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Amergent owns, operates and franchises fast casual and full-service restaurant brands. In 1999 Mr. Pruitt founded Avenel Financial Group, a boutique investment banking firm concentrating on value-oriented investments. In 2011, Mr. Pruitt became a director of the board of Hooters of America, LLC and was an early investor/board member in Appalachian Mountain Brewery which was sold to Craft Brew Alliance in 2018. In 2020, Mr. Pruitt founded Food & Beverage Social Club to create a community that gathers together for culinary experiences while supporting local restaurants. Mr. Pruitt received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, where he played on the 1982 and 83 College World Series Baseball Teams. Today he not only sits on the Board of Visitors of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration, the Coastal Education Foundation Board (Endowment Investment Committee), and the Athletic Committee of the Board of Trustees but also serves as a Dormie Network Ambassador. In his free time, Mr. Pruitt enjoys golfing at Grandfather Mountain Golf and Country Club where he is a member, running, and spending time with his wife, three kids, and one grandchild.
Brianna is currently anticipating her graduation from Coastal Carolina University to earn a Bachelors degree in Business Management in December of 2022. Along with this, she is working towards becoming a Class A PGA Professional through Coastal’s Professional Golf Management program. At Coastal, she served as the Marketing Officer to the Wall Fellows, an exclusive and rigorous leadership program.
Brianna is ecstatic to assist Golf Society 319 as Director of Member Relations. She is responsible for managing our business development while ensuring that each member has the optimal experience. Golf Society 319 has encapsulated all of her passions such as growing the game of golf, serving the community, and introducing more women to the game.
Cribb graduated from UNC Wilmington with a Degree in Marketing where she was a member of the women’s golf team. Cribb
earned her MBA Degree from Coastal Carolina University in 2011. Cribb served as the Carolinas PGA Section Board Area VII Director from 2012 through 2014 and was elected Secretary of the Carolinas PGA Section in
2014, Vice President in 2016, President in 2018, Honorary President through February 2022 and currently serves as a Past President. Cribb was appointed in 2020 to serve on the PGA of America’s Board of Control, and was named the recipient of the Carolinas PGA Section Horton Smith Award in 2014 and 2021 for her outstanding contributions to PGA education. In March 2021, Cribb was elected as the District 10 Director representing the Carolinas, Mid Atlantic and Kentucky Sections on the National Board of Directors. Cribb has been a PGA member since 1997 and held positions at Legends Golf Resort, Heritage Golf Club and Bay Tree Resort. Prior to joining the faculty at Coastal Carolina University in 2008, Cribb was the Head Golf Professional at Wachesaw Plantation East.
Michelle Arcidiacono graduated with her BA in Accounting from Winthrop University in 2003. She worked in the public accounting sector for five years until joining Michael Pruitt at Chanticleer Holdings, Inc. in January 2008. While continuing as the accounting manager, she earned her MBA in Accounting from Winthrop University in 2011. Michelle has continued to grow and evolve with the accounting for Avenel Financial Group as well as maintain her accounting role and Corporate Secretary position for Chanticleer Holdings, Inc.
